One Last Push for Takeout & A Movie

Previous ... Next

The Takeout & A Movie promotion was a success this last weekend. All across Oregon, customers got takeout from their favorite restaurants, watched Phoenix, Oregon at home and enjoyed a live Q&A. We sold about 500 virtual tickets and raised $1,500 for Oregon Hospitality Foundation’s restaurant relief fund.

We’d love to get that contribution number up to $2,000 so that Phoenix, Oregon can sponsor one complete grant for a restaurant serving those in need in our communities.

Q&A with Phoenix, Oregon cast and crew

There is still an opportunity to help as the film will be available as part of Takeout & A Movie through Sunday night May 17. If you haven’t seen Phoenix, Oregon, now is the time to watch and support a local restaurant by getting takeout. Your contribution will also contribute directly to the relief grants as 50% of revenues go directly to the Hospitality Help Fund which is making $2,000 grants to restaurants all over Oregon who are specifically providing food to our frontline heroes and the food insecure.

The first grants will be awarded next week at the end of the promotion.

We are looking into replicating this model in other states for Phoenix, Oregon as well as adding additional films to the platform for the Oregon Hospitality Foundation.

It has been so rewarding partnering with these organizations the last two months, and I am interested to see how we can continue to contribute and give back as we move into digital over the next three weeks.
