For what seems like the bajillionth time this year, there are no words. Nothing to say.
Our valley is burning.
The fire started less than a half mile from our home. We packed and waited. It moved away from us to the north devastating Talent and Phoenix.
So many friends have already lost homes. So many more are waiting to find out.
The winds are still raging. We don’t know what the night or morning will bring.
I am grieving for friends and our community. Tomorrow we’ll know the full impact, and then start looking for ways to help.
Heartbroken.
