This weekend, we launch the first Takeout & A Movie weekend in partnership with the Oregon Hospitality Foundation.
Guests are encouraged to buy takeout from their favorite restaurant and purchase a virtual ticket to view Phoenix, Oregon.
Ticket proceeds will be split with the film and the fund to support restaurants.
The Oregon Hospitality Foundation has set up the Hospitality Help Relief Fund which will contribute $2,000 grants to restaurants feeding the frontline heroes and food insecure in our communities. They will make at least one grant in each of Oregon’s seven regions.
So far, over 150 virtual tickets for this weekend’s event have been sold.
Phoenix, Oregon will be available to watch online starting Friday May 8 and continuing through Tuesday May 12. A live virtual Q&A with cast & crew will be held on Saturday May 9 at 7pm and will be recorded in case anyone is unable to tune in live.
It’s been rewarding to work with OHF to help restaurants and to be able support an organization outside of our immediate film-industry circles.
